We are SwanStack, a team of passionate developers and system engineers based in Perth, Australia.

Our journey began with a vision to create a consultancy that not only understands the intricacies of technology but one that also values the human element in every project.

Essentially – we are here to help our customers and partners with the challenge of bridging the divide between a technical specialist and generalist.

Each member of our Perth team has decades of experience within the IT Industry, and contribute not only their own knowledge and skills but also bring their individual network of industry contacts and external resources.

This provides a deep capability diversity, allowing us to provide for almost any client need or requirement… while reducing the number of individual vendors and contractors you have to manage!

What We Do

SwanStack provides technical consulting services, systems integration capabilities, security analysis and general web and app development services.

In short - we are experts in the 'stack'. We not only assist our clients and partners with management of their own on-premise infrastructure, but also with migrations from other third-party platforms. Most importantly, we craft and provide tailored solutions largely based within our own centrally monitored Managed Cloud environments.

Our services are based around three fundimental 'columns'. This is the final tier of our 6-D process, and are the distilled essense of all we do.

Our 6-D Process

01.

Discover

First we research and gather information relevant to the defined problem, objective. or desired outcome. This step largely involves data collection, analysis, and understanding the context surrounding the engagement – not only from the technical perspective but also from that of the intended consumer or user base.

02.

Define

Next we must clearly outline the problem or objective. This involves an understanding the project goals, requirements, desired outcome and constraints. Here we also aim to understand the ‘human component’, such as expected interactions with any implementated solution, product or strategy.

03.

Design

Now we design potential solutions, systems and strategies based on the information gathered in previous phases. This phase often involving brainstorming and rapid prototyping, and ultimately will end with the creation of a detailed implementation plan an/or project scope document.

04.

Develop

It’s time to implement the chosen solution or strategy. This step involves putting the plan into action, building functional prototypes, developing the product, and/or executing the project according to the design and scope created during the top-tier phases.

05.

Deliver

Once built, refined and implemented we roll out the solution to the intended consumer audience, or implement it within the organization. This step may involve acceptance testing, user training, and ensuring that the solution is effectively integrated into existing systems or processes.

06.

Defend

Security is never simply the last step, as we consider security throughout the entire project lifecycle… integrating a defence-in-depth approach into every product and solution we craft. Nearly every project will offer a maintenance service, and this ensures we both monitor security and regularly apply required updates.
